Faith is a lifelong horsewoman. She grew up with horses in her back yard and determined at an early age to be an instructor. She set a course to learn and to become the best teacher she could be. Through high school she competed in Hunter, Jumpers and Dressage. Riding with various instructors and taking careful note of the characteristics she felt distinguished the good instructors from the poor ones. That led her to pursue a four year degree in Equestrian Studies.
During her college years she was able to deepen her knowledge and expand her skills as a horsewoman by earning a Bachelor's Degree in Equestrian Studies. At college she was a member of the Dressage competition team and the Eventing competition team and served as a coach for the Dressage teams her Junior and Senior years.
After graduation Faith was hired to be an instructor at the Pacific Horse Center, a vocational school for aspiring instructors. She became the head lecturer and the Dressage instructor while there. During this time she was able to expand her riding and training skills as well.
Faith left the Pacific Horse Center to marry her husband Eric who was an army officer and they proceeded to move all around the country. At each post Faith continued to teach and work on her own skills. Working with instructors in various parts of the country. Instructors such as; Felicitas von Neuman-Cosel, Bengt Linquist, Kay Merideth and more. At one point she was NARHA Certified to teach handicapped riders and worked as the Program Director at the Therapeutic Riding Center of Huntington Beach.
Now, Faith is back to concentrating on her riding, training and her first love, teaching. In recent years she and her students have won numerous chapter, regional and national awards. One of her students, Emily Andreano, was one of the 3 youngest riders to ever earn a Bronze Medal. Another young student, Haley Chatel went from learning how to post to Reserve Champion at both Training Level and Equitation at the CDS Southern Junior Championships in 9 months. Faith's husband Eric has been very successful with their homebred horse Remise and Faith has enjoyed great successes with her client's horses.
